For sure. The sign's are promising though. Maybe this break we're all moaning about has done him some good!!

(Am I right in thinking he had some surgery before and didn't tell the band until after? Maybe he never had a chance to rest the voice fully until now. I'm completely speculating of course)

I definitely heard that one. A year off has got to do his voice a world of good. Judging by the Vertigo Tour he should start failing at the end of the 3rd leg. W get them on the second so we are safe.

but the South American shows give good pro-shots. .. Think of the Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo Vertigo shows with a strong Bono voice. Wow. His voice was lazy during the late Popmart pro-shots too
  5. The energy from those shows is amazing (I've just started my DVD). Couldn't agree more. His voice was ok on Popmart Mexico.

If he's truly rested maybe it will survive the tour like Zoo. Can't really fault Sydney...

Theres no faulting the South American audience. Just stunning. His voice on Sydney wasnt the best it was on that tour but hard to fault. Why did they leave it so late to film anyway?
  7. I just see "stay" on youtoube. It`s great. Bono`s voice better than before.
I look forward to the next gig

Stay acustic so nice, and Bonos Voice are good!!!
  9. Bono's voice sounds okay. Good to see him finally do some "U2" work. That's the good thing about this gig.

Hm, first of all: Playing Stay stripped down and accoustically just murders the song. Same for Desire. Wave of sorrow?
Also Bono's moves and the "snippet" make him look like an idiot to me (and just me). I don't know, maybe I'm hypercritical, but somehow it really looks like they've lost it.

I wouldn't call you hypercritical. Your just a fan of what and who U2 (Bono) were and not who and what they are now. Or am I just wild guessing?
