1. I've also noticed that your a little light on LB tracks.

    No Swallowed Whole.

    No Let The Records Play.

    No Future Days.

So, be honest here: Do you like the new record ?

To assure you that I'm not disagreeing, the only songs I really like (I can't use the word "love" with any of them) are still Pendulum, Getaway, and Infallible (which is better on the album than live).
  2. I guess I/we will wake up to a fresh setlist from Sydney in the morning. For the sake of the bootlegs, here's hoping for solid performances of In My Tree, Immortality, and Indifference (although they don't seem to play this last one very often at festivals).
  3. Let's hope they don't play Immortality or Indifference cause that would just rub salt in the wound after seeing Melbourne's handwritten!
  4. Sydney #1

    Do the Evolution
    Mind Your Manners
    Animal
    Hail Hail
    Getaway
    Corduroy
    Lightning Bolt
    In Hiding
    Even Flow
    Severed Hand
    Sirens
    State of Love and Trust
    Unthought Known
    Insignificance
    Let the Records Play
    Spin the Black Circle
    Rearviewmirror

    Footsteps
Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town
    Chloe Dancer
    Crown of Thorns
    Throw Your Arms Around Me
    Better Man
    Porch

    Jeremy
    Black
    Alive
    Kick Out the Jams
    Rockin' in the Free World
  5. Definitely a "festival setlist" - lots of hits. Hopefully all fans (diehards and casuals) appreciated it.

I love the new record... But narrowing it down to just 30 songs those songs just don't make the cut..
  7. I'm def a die hard and I would of loved that set..
  8. I've made several compilations in the past that contain ONLY songs from the 1990's. Obviously, they have made some great music since (most of my faves come from Binaural, mind you) but, for me, the best were from the first decade.

  9. New record is good....I might have added another new tune or 2 to that mix, only because it is the LB tour. Records play is a weak tune so Id leave that out....Future Days is boring live...but its a good tune...I would add Swallowed Whole in there.....30-35 tunes from both nights...similar to my 2 nights at MSG 2010 mix....

I would start it off with

    Pendulum
    Release
    Nothing man
    LB
    Corduroy
    MYM
    HAIL HAIL
    Dissident
    Y Go
    Even Flow
    Swallowed
    I AM Mine
    Sirens
    PT
    Eruption >
    Spin
    Rats
    IMMORTALITY
    CHLOE/CROWN OF THORNS
    GTF
    SOLAT
    ONCE
    Better Man (or RVM)

    Encore 1
    OCEANS
    FOOTSTEPS
    Yellow Moon
    All Those Yesterdays
    Sleight of Hand
    Daughter
    Evolution
    Go

    Encore 2

    Whipping
    BLOOD
    BLACK
    Alive
    INDIFFERENCE

I left out Porch cause it pissed me off that they ended the encores with the same song each and every night....

THAT IS ONE HELL OF A GIG !!!!

    2 Nights in BROOKLYN 2013 !
  10. Im sure there is a thread for this, but I like to post in here.

  11. That was announced a little while ago. It has been in discussion on the Latest U2 News / Sightings and New Album threads. Probably best it goes in there if you do find any U2 news!
