1. I hear a mix of Boy/War with a touch of Zooropa (the album). Had some U2 on shuffle yesterday and Invisible was followed by Zooropa (the song). Could be on the same album.
  2. I would say a mix between ATYCLB and Bomb, actually.

It's got a very "Beautiful Day" feel to it for me, the way the chorus is particularly elevated above the verse (and due to the fact that they're finally sounding like themselves again- something BD was practically famous for).

But it's also got a Bomb-like feel to it, like how people who have compared it to COBL.
  3. I agree with you Matt, but I also hear Achtung Baby and even Boy in there as well. Achtung Baby in the overall pulse of the song along with the odd guitar sounds here and there. It reminds me of some of the tones just hidden in the background of songs like Zoo Station. Also Edge's trebly short-delay tone that you hear throughout the song is pure early-U2 goodness.

But let's be real, I think the fact of the matter is, this combination is just us trying to categorize this thing when in actuality it's simple: New U2 music that has hints of the classic U2 we know and love crossed with something new for them.
  4. That's precisely what I told someone yesterday when they asked me about the song, Alex:

"I'm glad U2 has found a way to incorporate a fresh sound into their classic style that MAKES them U2...they haven't abandoned what they're good at just to be 'experimental'."
  5. I was trying to explain it to my Dad, and the best thing I could come up with was "It's like if Beautiful Day was written in 1993." But I'm happy for them, doing well so far all over iTunes, excited for what the album brings!
  6. So is it really "A body in a soul" or "A body and a soul"?

Also...ffs, you search for "Invisible lyrics" and the first result is Taylor Swift!
  7. Sounds like 'body and soul'.

  10. hello,
    found u2start in pre NLOTH.
Now, i just can say i love invisible, and since 2 Feb. didn´t listening other u2 song.
think is a very good sign, and yes, easily invisivible will be a classic, unless the new album woul be a master piece.
  11. This song has me listening to their old albums starting with Boy; just finished Under a Blood Red Sky... I think a U2 phase is in order when it comes to my music listening for the next while.
  12. Guy's i'm looking for the FONT used on the digital cover, does anybody know its name ?
