1. I was digging through some stuff the other day - looking for something I was hoping to share here. You know - try and add to the greater whole, rather than just be a lurker/leacher...

Anyhow - I found what I was looking for (pun intended...) I have a remix CD "Two Hearts and Other Strange Things" which includes 13 versions of Two Hearts, but the real treasure is...

A half hour rehearsal session from November 1987 in Long Island, NY. Included in this mismash are two fairly complete songs, and some humorous Bob Dylan impersonations....

The songs are working as "She's Gonna Blow Your House Down" and "We Almost Made It This Time"

So - is this a legit thing to share as a whole on this site? And hoe do I go about getting the 28.7MB MP3 in a position to do so?

  2. It's not the beach hut acoustic jam is it?
  3. It's definately a work session - "let's start this with a B Minor" and it sounds like Lanois working with them.... saying, "let's bring Larry in there" - And "that B Minor is kind of ethereal there..."

It's almost all acoustic, but then they kick in a previous recording at one point to play back that has production work done to it.

"it's still early days" says Bono on the first song.....
  4. I just found some lyrics for "She's gonna blow your house down" - the ones I just found while googling are nothign to what's in this "Work Session"

    "

Your door wide open, your window to the world
The devil in your house, He'll.....xxxxxx

Feet on fire, forever in debt -
You can't return to the place you never left

She's gonna blow your house down
    "
  5. yep, thats the audio of a clip from the Rattle and Hum outtakes. Not sure if we have it listed here though.
  6. Can I send you a private message with a link for you to take a listen yourself?
