1. I am having a difficult time finding anything from the latest Switch shows -

    Anyone with direction?
  2. I know it's a pain, but we can't really have new topics each time anyone wants a bootleg. Please direct your requests for new boots from other artists to this topic:-

    http://www.u2start.com/topic/2363/

It will go to the top of the active topics page and you can bump it in a coupleof days if no-one's replied to you. Keeps things tidy for the boards.

    Cheers
  3. heres a hint....it mite work....go to google...put in blog search.....and enter....then click on blog search and it will bring up a blog search page ...then you can put in for example...inxs rapidshare and search and see what you get
  4. Boy - if it was only as easy as a google search - If it was that easy, wouldn't everyone be doing it, as the 'ol addage goes????

As for specific requests, I wasn't looking for a specific, and pardon if I wasn't more clear....

I thought this was an area to discuss boots and related topics for artists other than "The Boys" - I really was Inquiring if anyone knew why there was a dearth of INXS stuff from the last tour..... believe me, I am pretty capable of finding things on my own normally.... but the absolute lack of anything is pretty peculiar to me, especially in this day and age.

I see a fair amount of people who look and feel like they know a bit about the industry and figured I'd ask if anyone had the scoop is all.....

So, rephrased, was there some sort of extra tight soundboard security from these guys this time around???? Why so little (practically NONE) material from this tour around?

Thank god! Another INXS fan. I have the paris show, but I'll have to find it.
  6. I am also a HUGE INXS fan, from way back, around the same time i got into U2, 1983 or so.

I posted a Bootleg in that other forum, and a link to some more, but i don't have any from the Switch era.

But if anyone is interested, i have a few things on dvd, i have either converted from the original VHS to DVD or directly from cable tv.

The only concert DVD i have is :

INXS - Rocking The Royals [Melbourne] - 48 mins 04.11/1985 - pro shot

But also a few docos :

    INXS - The Swing And Other Stories - 1984 - 58 mins
    INXS - In Search Of Excellence - 1988 - 80 mins
    INXS - Max Masters - 2007 - 54 mins

    INXS - The Max Sessions - Live Performance - 2007 - 27 mins / INXS - The Making Of Switch - 30 mins

Yeah, well i remember watching them on TV playing some concert, and at the time, loved the song "Black & White" from Shabooh Shoobah, but i remember listening to the Swing cassette, and was hooked, around the same time as U2, i was about 13at the time.

I also had tickets for the Melbourne show [The Palais] for the 1997 gig, that show was supposed to be the following Saturday after Michael Died, myself & GF were SHATTERED, not so much for the gig, but for Michael.

What Paris show is it? but definatly, would love the link, cheers.

It's from the switch tour. It's a great show with a decent setlist (27 songs if I remember right) I'll find it. That's very weird that you got into INXS at that age, I got into them when I got into U2 as well. (2003/2004-ish) And my favorite albums are:

    1. Kick
    2. Live Baby Live
    3. Shabooh Shoobah
    4. X
    5. The Swing
