We all know the story. Yeah, they spent most of 1986 and the 3 first months of 87 writing and recording it, and Bono had previously (from 1984 on) written some of the songs that made it to TJT or as b-sides to the singles, and also during the time he spent in Africa. So the whole proccess took definitely much more than 2 months... More like 2 years
And Chris Martin going out from Electric Lady studios and all... We thought they were doing the final mixes for the album. Damn.
