1. Where is this Joshua Tree/2 months stuff coming from?! Load of rubbish

  2. Yea, if I remember correctly streets alone took more than two months!

Breaking news: the names of the two songs have now been revealed. They're called:

    I'll go crazy if I won't get crazy 2
    Stand up comedy 3

    Stay tuned!

    hahahaa

  4. Yes. And it was on the verge of being actually thrown in the trash We all know the story. Yeah, they spent most of 1986 and the 3 first months of 87 writing and recording it, and Bono had previously (from 1984 on) written some of the songs that made it to TJT or as b-sides to the singles, and also during the time he spent in Africa. So the whole proccess took definitely much more than 2 months... More like 2 years Anyway, we're going really offtopic now.
  5. Anyway - back on topic.

Everyone needs to chill and stay positive. There is loads of good stuff happening and the wheels are seriously running in what is going to be a mega year for the band.

Already two very well received 'singles', a Golden Globe, a likely Oscar (plus live performance), the JT re-entering the Billboards and press commitments filling up? These are excellent times that are only going to get better.

I don't get some of the scepticism on here at times. Folk need to enjoy the build up and appreciate what is in the pipeline...a new U2 album and world tour. Magic!

    U2014 indeed
  6. Pedro, the build up is almost taking 3 years (since the 360 tour ended), that's just too long imo
Luckily we had the This Is cover, the new version of Sunday Bloody Sunday, Ordinary Love and Invisible, which is actually far from bad.

  9. That video's hilarious to me because it reminds me of that summer of 2013 when everyone on here thought they were making a music video for a new single. Jokes on us -____-
