  2. It's actually the whole part between 2:50 en 3:11 I really love.
    It's the whole band at their best, Edge with a strong guitar part, Adam and Larry (wow, drumming again!) at full throttle, Bono shouting, followed by some gibberish For me, that part has the signature "Hello world, we're U2 and we're back."

    I said they seemed really cool and at ease but also somewhat effortless. This is a little different than pre NLOTH; if you remember before the album dropped Bono was wearing Guy-liner and saying he was a new character... that did seem to be trying a bit hard.

    I vaguely remember that the fact that they were trying so hard as being a positive, this time around though to me they seem comfortable because they're older and maybe not trying so hard to reinvent the wheel. Not that NLOTH was that revolutionary but it was seen as a step forward from Bomb.

I feel like they're starting to embrace a "classic" U2 sound with OL and Invisible in a way reminiscent of All That You Can't Leave Behind whereas NLOTH had the buzz phrase "best since Achtung Baby" attached to it. I like the idea of them owning up to being U2 and doing more intimate and indoor (arena) shows. Maybe with acoustic segments in the concerts?

  12. It's catchier and easier on the ear, but I wouldn't say any of them is neccesarely "better" than the other. They're both better than GOYB tho
