  1. They are playing iTunes Festival in Texas on March 11 so that's a possibility. It could be a sudden release, or David Bowie-esque. I have this gut feeling they are trying to avoid a U2 release.

  5. I don't think any Coldplay album was 'their style' before it was released; every album has an unique style, in my opinion.

    However, Life in Technicolor was a long intro on Viva la Vida...
  6. Rumours say Atlantic Recordings has confirmed that Coldplay will release a new single on Monday, which will most likely be called Magic.

    I wonder if unreleased songs will be played at the iTunes Festival, just like they did with MX/Hurts Like Heaven, Charlie Brown, Us Against the World and Major Minus, at Rock am Ring back in 2011.

    The only reason I believe they wouldn't debut new tracks is because they do not have a large festival lineup over the summer like they did over 2011, at least that I know of.
