...this is the challenge for every tour. for example...NY/NJ second show of last tour got rescheduled because of NFL game...so second show became first show...during that show we sat in the 100 level, right next to the stage..EXCEPT for a few songs..most of the crowd sat the entire show.....all they wanted was the JT album,SBS,PRIDE, NYD and some other 'hits'
... true story...Seattle June 4, 2011... standing in line at the souvenir stand and lady behind me in late 40's/early 50's ask me 'who's playing tonight'??,,, ***I give strange look to her**... Lenny's opening followed by U2??, her response back is 'who are they'?? This gets a few more strange 'are you kidding me' looks from those around us in line... while holding back my laughing I ask her if she's serious... YES she says...'sorry the ticket was free'.....I really start to lose it and while all around her laughed...I started to list some albums, I get a blank look... I then tried some songs.... nothing....
*** so in some cases, it doesn't matter if they have or haven't HEARD of of U2**
