1. WOW
  2. that's a real pretty one Risto, very lovely colors and greatly chosen perspective.

Little hints for next time: better go for a longterm shot with Low ISO - that makes less noise, plain water and (moving) people to disappear
With a dark blue sky it would have been insanely perfect.
  3. Yeah but I had no other way then shooting it out of hand. I had no tripod... So thats why I couldnt go low iso. If you look back a dozen pages or so you will see some at ISO 100 at night

It's shot at 1/50 f/3.5 at 1008 ISO. However I boosted the exposure later in Photoshop that caused the noise. The original was way too dark, the lighting was barely visible.

In hindshight I couldve gone to 1/20, I made pretty sharp shots up to even 1/10th of a second, but I just locked it at 1/50 the whole night

Here is a slightly less boosted exposure (little bit more dynamic, not a fullstop). But I dont like the bridges exposure on it.

Conclusion merging the two corrections, which can be done, might give the best result.

Next time I will definitely bring a tripod, or a monopod. Which prevents corrections like that
  4. you could try getting an HDR, true. That might "save" the best from each version.

PS: the noise filters on the latest Adobe Photoshop CC are pretty nice, they actually made it a LOOOOOOT better.
  5. Really beautiful images, Chris. Where did you take them?
  6. Skopje, Macedonia. It has some nice places, but not too many
  7. haha

Well, this building certainly is one of them.
  8. Hahaha yeah it is nice, the general city not so much. Another one from the older pile to keep this topic alive:

  9. Very nice pic and place !
  10. Amazing photo, Chris!
