It varies per ticket. On very limited services you can get a return for £32 but if you need more flexibility, it can be as high as £270. Obviously if you're trying to make a flight, you might not be able to get the very cheap ticket since they're specific times.

I guess the 270 GBP is the problem. That is ridiculous for a national train ticket.

Return ticket to Amsterdam Schiphol (70 KM) airport is € 26, Eindhoven Airport (110 km) around € 43. Fixed prices, but still much more expensive then by car (only parking prices make it unattractive).

that sound expensive .. but there are a lot of low cost fly or this dont exist anymore ?

£32 is fine if you're happy to wait for the 'super off-peak' times. But remember, that only gets you to Euston, you still need to connect to Heathrow from there. Of course, it's a lot cheaper for me to just use Manchester

Yeah but low cost carriers are only cheap when you book far in advance.

i know ... but you can organize a trip with a lot of time and do it there . I did it when i went to Europe

Here you don t have low cost flights and every place is very far

I don't know if Aidan is familiar already with #mytoyplane, but it's pretty cool for us all to see. Instagrammer Varun Thota takes these images using his phone and a toy plane that he got from a chocolate egg.

Worth checking out his page (linked above) anyway because there's some really beautiful shots on there.
