1. Everything is more expensive – travel, living costs and the tucket alone is more prisey. Line-up at Werchter was much better though. Jack White pretty much sucked last night too.

Yeah, the Eastern European fans lack any form of consideration for others. That can be applicable among most things even though they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I've met some wonderful people here in Poland over the last two weeks. They just have some problems, manners being a major one.

My worst experiences were with Italian fans at U2 concerts. They're nice with you until the concert begins...after that it can be messy.

I didn't realize that you were in Poland for two weeks.

    Nice. (?)
  4. Nothing crossed off the previous list as no new-to-the-tour songs were played in Poland.

    Only three shows left....

    Ten-era - Breath (!)
    Vs. - Glorified G (!)
Vitalogy - Tremor Christ (!) ...and Bugs
No Code - Off He Goes (!), Habit (!), Present Tense (!!), Around The Bend, Mankind, I'm Open
Vitalogy - Faithfull (!), No Way, PMPM
Binaural - Nothing as it Seems - plus so many more!
Riot Act - Save You, I Am Mine - plus so many more
Avocado - World Wide Suicide, Inside Job, and others I don't care that much about
    Backspacer - whatever
Lightning Bolt - Future Days (whatever)
Lost Dogs - Wash, Alone, Brother, Dirty Frank, etc. etc. etc.
  5. It's a shame that Breath hasn't been played yet.....
  6. Man Avocado has really aged well to my ears. I've never loathed the album like some people do but listening to the 06 Torino show recently really made me fall in love with that album. It's not perfect of course, but it's a great rock n roll record.
  7. Also learning allot of those songs on drums made me realize that its Matt Cameron's best album with the band.
  8. Avocado is hit or miss for me...it is an album that, to an extent anyway, brought me back to Pearl Jam.

I like the albums hits (i.e., the ones they played on the talk/variety shows) like WWS, Life Wasted, and Severed Hand.

Inside Job, Army Reserve, and Gone are, to me, "mature" songs both lyrically and musically. On some levels that's a good thing but on others it just doesn't quite resonate with me.

Parachutes and Come Back are quite polarizing amongst the die-hards, I believe. If I'm in the mood, I think both a very nice songs. If I'm not, I think they both suck. I suppose I could say teh same thing about Marker In the Sand.

Big Wave and Unemployable are two of my least favourite PJ songs of their entire catalog - and although I don't hate it, Comatose is a step down from may of their other straight ahead rockers.

  9. Musicians must have a much better appreciation for ... other musicians.

I really gotta by a new guitar one of these days. I just don't want to turn into one of those campfire dudes that everyone secretly hates.
  10. You know I've never liked unemployable and luckily I can't relate to it but the lyrics are awesome which saves the song for me. "If he can't sleep how will he ever dream". It just captures the subject matter so great. Big Waves shoulda never made the album. But I could deal with it.
  11. no live streaming, Pixies yes instead

My problem with Unemployable was definitely not with the subject matter (nor the lyrics) but it's poor musical composition. That "chorus" is just terrible - reminded me of a bad seventies song.
