Give me a couple of days and I'll throw my list together. I'm sure you've already got everything I do, but...nevertheless, I'll put my list up and we might be able to work a trade.

Nah, there's still a whole bunch of shows I don't have and/or don't want, I'm no completist. It's just, with all these new media things like torrents, usenet, direct downloads, everyone converting everything in every format, old snail mail trading seems to be more and more obsolete. And that's a shame - it was so much cooler to hunt down the traders/shows and get the package via mail, nowadays you can download 50 shows a week, burn them, put them in the corner, next 50...
I think the weather gets me melancholic...

I've managed to get hold of a few things through a very friendly source, but still have no DVD burner. So no point in trading..

Least not until I get that iMac..........

I hear you and i'm with you there. Would have been great to have traded during thos golden years. I thinks its great though that torrents making things easier for people though. Ying and Yang I suppose.

Much the same with regular song downloading. Doesn't replace the thrill of going to a shop on release day and picking up the physical item itself.
Almost too easy and you forget you've got them. I'll stick to a few highlights for sure. No point owning things you don't enjoy and/or will never watch (except to pass them on to someone else I guess...)

Yep, that's true. That's the other side of the medal. And it's much cheaper than trading.

    Hey how are you friend??
I have to agree, it's taking too long, but nevertheless it's AWESOME!! I'm still excited, and hoping that some day, it'll arrive home... haha
    cheers!
  10. Hey all, I regret to inform you that I have decided to drop out of the DVD vine.

So has haytrain, who just informed me via email (I'm not sure if he told the forum, and I'm not going to read through 10 pages just to check if he did).

I made sure to send emails to both otero1212 and jexp, but I figure this is relevant to the whole group for this thread.

I apologize for dropping out (especially at this point when it's so close to me), it's just that my initial excitement has waned over the past 3 months, my university exams are coming up in a week or two, and I'm beginning to seriously doubt that I will actually watch them, even though I am absolutely certain that they're all incredible.

Please enjoy the DVDs to everyone else, and thanks a million times over to yeah for putting this together!
