1. No love is blindness tonight as well
Good show though, nice to see him perform once
  2. David Gray tomorrow (or today, whichever way you look at it).
  3. After poor summer it starting to look like fine concert autumn (again)...

    so far...
    2014-10-17 Birdpen - Prague
    2014-10-25 Kasabian - Berlin
2014-11-13 Lenny Kravitz - Prague (maybe - depends on how new album will be)
  4. Returned to my early teen years and caught Fall Out Boy & Paramore at the last minute a few nights ago. Not a bad set to relive the memories of "rocking out" to that when I was younger

Journey & Steve Miller Band was supposed to be last night but the outdoor theater flooded due to an intense spurt of rain that morning. Have to say, I've had shows cancelled before- but never for that reason! Being postponed to a later date.

Next up is Jack White next week, I believe.
  5. Jack White this Sunday in St. Louis. Tried to make it to my hometown (Chicago) to see him play, but I'm stuck down here taking.....summer school...
  6. Gaslight Anthem with guests Jimmy Eat World and Against Us in Philadelphia in September... pretty stoked. Wish I could have gone to the homecoming show in Jersey the next day but had a prior engagement. Will be a great show either way.
  7. That's fantastic Andrew I want to see them again so badly!
  8. Jack White was surreal. Played the longest show of his entire career - something like 30 songs, including Blue Orchid which is the first time he's played it since The White Stripes. Incredible night. 3 hour show.

Aerosmith last night was a lot of fun. For a band that goes out and plays the greatest hits every tour, I got a little bit of a shake-up from the last time I saw them. Eat the Rich and Dude Looks Like a Lady were left out a few years ago, but I got them both last night. We were about 10 rows back from Steven Tyler's catwalk, and it was a hell of a rock show. They still know how to bring it.

Next up is a Dave Matthews Band tribute tonight, if I can make it out of the house, and then next week begins my craziest bout of show-going possibly in my life:

    Wednesday - Twin Shadow
    Thursday - CHVRCHES
Friday - Lollapalooza (Lorde, Eminem, Arctic Monkeys), Spoon aftershow
Saturday - Lollapalooza (Phosphorescent, Fitz/Tantrums, Outkast, etc.), maybe a 1975 aftershow
Sunday - Lollapalooza (Bleachers, Cage the Elephant, Glen Hansard, Kings of Leon, etc.)

And from there I have a show just about every 2-3 days til September.
