1. 1. Its vaguely funny, because he's always claiming to be banging chicks. We always figured he was getting nowhere near the amount he claimed to, but now there's other possibilities.
    2. Trying it. I was going to ask her to just shoot him down, and get it over with for his own good, but shes quitting, and I don't work with her before her last day.
    3. I'm 24. I can deduce that she is over 18, based off of labor law, and the amount of hours they'll work her for, and also that she is probally over 20, as we don't seem to hire many people under 20. hard to gauge as she looks young, and has this perpetual deer in the headlights/lost puppy kind of look. Neither of us has been there that long (I actually think we started the same week), but I work in the kitchen, so its easier for me to fit in with everyone, since I don't have to interact with customers, and have more oppurtunities to interact with co-workers, wheras she works front counter, and as such essentially interects with customers excusively most of her shifts.
  2. Do you like her ? does her age bother you ? The perpetual deer in the headlight/lost puppy would bother me though haha but if you think shes ok give her a try, you have been lonely for so long, you need a companion to bring a smile to your face
  3. I think shes a nice kid. I cant decide if the age gap bothers me that much, or not though. The perpetually lost vibe don't really bother me actually, as I assume she must see me as some kind of stability, or some shit like that. I started suspecting she liked me, when our shifts both started at the same time, and she just followed me back and forth between two rooms for like 15 minutes (I stretch before I go on shift, and I kept checking the clock.). We talked a little about what hours we had been working, but mostly she just seemed to be following me around like a lost dog. Probally if some people had done it, it could have seemed creepy but she didn't. Also, the silence really was no awkward, and i usually find silences awkward.

Like I said, the age gap is what I am most conflicted on.
  4. I think thats cute! Shes twenty, twenty is a sensible and mature age enough to be serious, my daughter is twenty and she knows better, really four years is nothing, im 38 and although I like older men, it would not be a bad thing if I was dating a 30 year old or even a 50 year old, because theres a certain age in your life where you know yourself and what you like and twenty would be that age for some and yet others its at thirty for slow learners lol, I wouldnt worry about it I say take it slow, and give it a go, but you need to be friends before your lovers, its important because if things go wrong, it could be ugly at work, and if you had established a friendship first you have a better foundation to work out crap if it does not work out.
    Happy for you man
  5. I said I presume she is at least 20. Educated guess. Hard to gauge, as she looks young. I am reasonably sure she is over 18 for sure though.

No one can ever guess my age properly. If I shave I look way younger. If I don't I look way older.

Also, I kind of have a hang up on the idea of dating co-workers. No policy against it (some of my co-workers are married to each other) just seems unprofessional to me.
  6. Nothing unprofessional about it, its just a law people make for work ethicks but when it comes to love, i say screw ethicks because that one co-worker could have been your lifetime soul mate you just hung up on
  7. I know she knows how old I am, as I off-handidly mentioned my age to a co-worker, when she was following me around.
  8. Just ask her politely, how old are you if I may ask ? If she says why, you can say because she looks so young
  9. Hell no. That's like a point of no return type thing. Plus I don't work with her directly, so I would have to ask her well one of us is walking through the others work area, in which case my co-workers would never let me hear the end of it.
  10. hahaha ok i get it, well if your ever alone you can ask her then
  11. I'll consider it. Only been alone with her three times. The previously mentioned time, when we both came on at the same time, once when I came in, and she was in the back washing dishes (where I was afraid, talking to her would get me sick, since she mentioned she did not feel well the previous day, and the flue was going around work), and once where I ran into her in the freezer, when we where both getting stuff, and I almost accidently nailed her in the face with a freezer door, and could not talk then, since we where both on the clock, and in a hurry.
  12. Cool! What do you think of best friend dating each other ?
