    I'm expecting a U2-related announcement, probably the new album with details. And perhaps they teamed up with Apple somehow in the promotion (no iPhone pre-load, but maybe it has something to do with Beats?). There is always some kind of truth in rumours and Daniel Lanois' tweet is just too accidental..

    We'll wait and see.
  5. frankly I'm amazed that none of you had sufficient interest to subsequently visit the forum where this was originally "announced" to maybe see how things panned out?. If you had you would have found out that the "original poster" had subsequently admitted that it was a hoax and been banned from that forum but not before posting the following comments "u2 fans are so gullible", "irish people are so gullible" and wondering why everyone was so interested in a group of "has-beens". - all direct quotes from his last post on that forum.
  6. I was revising the topic regullarly until yesterday evening, and didn't read anything like that - but thanks for the info. As many said here, there were signals that pointed for it to be a hoax, but it was nice to believe wasn't it
