1. I know this is a stupid question, but will this album be out on CD?
  2. 13th Oct
  3. Will the 4 additional songs be on the CD package ?
and can we buy it in the U2.com shop? Im hoping so, I hate amazon
  4. And will the CD package be part of the U2.com subscription gift? So many questions...
  5. RBW, Volcano, CR - these songs have so much of a Boy/October/War feel. They're really good. Bomb was meant to be a back to the roots album, with all the Boy songs played during the tour etc. But they really went back to that feel emotional place now - not in 2004. CR could have been on War...

A song like Invisible is so far from all of this... it is really good, but far. U2 have really surprised me with this album. Instead of trying hard to be U2, they did their best to do something else - and they really succeeded this time.
  6. I'm expecting something awesome from the U2.com subscription that tie in with SOI. Read the original letter from Bono where is says something about making it available to iTunes as well as u2.com'ers.

For the record, awesome is not:
    - the album even in deluxe format
    - given the deluxe format will likely have 4 new songs and a whole lot of acoustic versions, not just remixes that are never going to mean anything

Awesome would include the ability to watch concerts live and download audio recordings of each show.

I agree, that'd be awesome... will they?
  8. Anyone here noted Chris Martin's voice in Iris?
  9. Really love this album, shame about all the negative feedback from haters around the world but hey they seem to voice there opinions and only succeed in giving it more attention...so a win win for U2 lets face it the world is talking about this album. ..and for those who claim to never heard of this band THEY HAVE NOW!!!!
  10. Listenend SOI about 6 times and I do like the album very much, because it is an album with the U2 sound and therefore I am a U2 fan. But also some interesting not typical U2 songs and parts in songs. Favorites: Raised by Wolves, Iris, The Troubles. Very curious to hear them live.

I'd be fine with Apple placing free music in my library that I can delete should I desire to...what I hate is that iTunes changes my songs all the time... Get On Your Boots for example is from the Get On Your Boots-Single which I bought the day it was released. I obviously since changed that to No Line On The Horizon and updated the track information but it always changes back on me...and this is a recent thing.

Sorry for the off topicness...THAT is my Apple frustration though.
