Very true! I thought the same thing when Beyonce released her album. I had heard she filmed a video back in September of last year and then thought it weird we didn't hear anything after. Then...surprise!

It just goes to show that artists can still surprise and keep things secret if they want to.

True. But I still think most of the fans like it because of the surprise-factor and the long wait. It's really not a good album...
And knowing what the reactions to NLOTH were in the beginning, I'm afraid you'll all soon find out. Hope I'm wrong.

I completely disagree with you about it not being a good album.
  4. You're right Kris, it's not a good Album, it's a Shitty Album! But it will work for guys who listen to Justin "Bieber" Timberlake.

Kris was saying that it is a good album, so why are you saying he's right and then say completely the opposite?

I doubt many people around this forum or any U2 forum listens to Justin Timberlake (or to Justin Bieber, for what is worth) on a regular basis, but most U2 fans seem to appreciate the album one way or another. Sorry that it doesn't work for you, now go listen to Achtung Baby (or whatever your cup of coffee is) on repeat
  7. To all those who don't like it but liked NLOTH - now you know how it feels! :p I thought NLOTH was awful. At least this album sounds like a band who is confident in a direction.

I couldn't even explain to someone why I think this album is so great. Maybe part of it is you have to be a U2 fan to appreciate what it is. I just can't go any amount of time away from it without wanting it in my ears.

  8. I'm sorry Cesar, you're right. It's not my native language, so you can find my opinion after the second comma. (It's a shitty Album! But it will work for guys who listen to Justin "Bieber" Timberlake.)

    regards Max
  9. I still have Hopes in "Songs of Experience".

Yes. I'm actually a big JT (that's Justin Timberlake... his middle name is not Bieber...) fan and don't really give two shits about what you think; his music is good and he is very talented.
  11. Compared to Songs of Innocence, this seriously sounds like a horrible b-side that shouldn't have seen the light of day:
