Very true! I thought the same thing when Beyonce released her album. I had heard she filmed a video back in September of last year and then thought it weird we didn't hear anything after. Then...surprise!

It just goes to show that artists can still surprise and keep things secret if they want to.

I think the only way bands can keep it a secret anymore, is it has to be distributed by one company first (Apple) or it will be leaked once they start distributing it too thousands of venders??

Yeah for sure! I also remember reading/seeing an interview with one of the dancers in the Bey videos saying that they had to sign confidentiality agreements as well. Plus I'd say JAY Z could have had them killed if they blabbed!
  3. What do you guys think the odds are we will get the Oct release a week early because it will be distributed the old fashion way...

  4. Holy shit, it sounds so awful. I hadn't listened to it in AGES and I'm sorry I actually did 3 minutes ago xD

You mean a leak? I think it's more than probable that it'll happen. The main album is of course out already, but I'm almost sure the bonus content will leak beforehand.
  6. Am I the only one who thinks reviews have been really harsh?

  7. The video was terrible as well.

  8. Yeah, it was part of the awful experience.

Funny thing is that, when the song was aired back in ¿January? 2009, it didn't seem so bad - it didn't seem bad at all in fact. I guess we were craving for anything new from them, and even a demo of Bono snorting over an Adam improvisation would have satisfied us.
  9. Yeah. I remember being so happy when it first came out, but it didn't take me long to realize I was trying to like it.

  10. And that's it

Luckily the album surpassed GOYB's quality by far (and I know you aren't a fan of NLOTH, Alex, but you have to give me this ).

And luckily, they haven't done the same mistake twice. GOYB was a failure and they have fixed it with this album's lead single; even though The Miracle ain't the best song they've ever pulled out (not even the best or catchiest on its album), it's far far FAR better than GOYB.

Agreed! And I don't disagree about NLOTH. Boots is one of the songs that takes away from what it might've been in my opinion.
