1. Read some more reviews and I dare to say the balance positive/negative is 50/50. Although I like the album myself (their best in a decade for sure), I wonder how the singles will do in the charts. At least, that's what is important to U2 as they said themselves. Being relevant and such.

NLOTH was praised in the media and received a quite amount of good reviews, but failed commercially. Maybe SOI is the other way round.

I just hope U2 won't become a parody of themself in the future.

If 33 millions of downloads completed ain't relevant, I don't know wat can be, seriously.

  3. Well said. Now capitalize on this! Don't go away all of a sudden like after the Golden Globes/Oscars/Tonight Show
  4. About all the complaints from critics and U2 haters for a free album from U2 I do have one thing to say:
Is your life so miserable to be busy with hate about music,
    Enjoy Life, Live It !!!!!

  5. Remember that it's a free download after all...
But it's a great number indeed.
  6. About 7%, suddenly it doesn't sound so great.

  7. Yes. Obviously 33 million people would not have bought the album but 33 million free downloads is still pretty cool I think!

  8. Isn't that what Achtung Baby and Zoo TV was all about?
