  7. A courageous, provocative and perhaps confident choice of cover image. The kind of move I want to see from U2. Having read the lyrics and liner notes, it seems entirely consistent with the album's themes, so it's hard to understand the opposition and surprise. Echoes Boy too. Would people prefer a boring old monochrome moody rockstars photo? Plenty of those aleady.
  8. To be honest, I really liked the image they threw up when they first announced the album at the Apple event. It's simple and to the point.
