Ticketmaster is notoriously awful at pretty much all times, so I figure that's a question worth asking.

Yeah, presales work a treat. There was a little mess last tour in some of the European concerts (very few presale tickets were put on sale so they sold out too quickly) but I don't think you'd have any problem for getting any seats you want for a "normal" concert (aka no tour start, no tour end, no Madison Square Garden or the likes). GA might be another story though.

Nevertheless, I'd wait and see what U2COM has to say about the tour, the presales and how they work. Maybe they change something.

Yes, if they eventually play arenas, tickets for Germany and possibly the northern countries (Norway, Sweden, etc) will be easier to get than France, Italy and UK/Eire. Shame is that travelling to Italy is much cheaper than to Germany (at least from Spain)

You sure? I think they sold 60 000 in less than an our for Gothenburg last time.
  3. Hmmm The Point, that would be sweet

There will be seniority levels again right, based on membership years?

  5. I certainly hope so.
It's the only reason I've kept my membership ticking over these past few years.
  6. I'm gonna play it by ear. There's always a helpful forum member with an extra code. I'll only be doing the Ireland shows plus one somewhere else.

It will be a good idea when presales is about to start to share a topic with requests, so the ones with presale codes can buy more tickets.

I would be happy to purchase more to trade with other fans
  8. Didn't we have something similar last time? There was always plenty of tickets to go around though with this perhaps being a smaller venue tour it might be a little trickier.

If it is indoors then Holland is high up on my list. I think a long weekend in Amsterdam would be an easy sell for the girlfriend. No 10 hours in 40 degree heat like Barcelona either.

    You're always welcome.

Going for another subscription. U2 can sell out the Ziggo Dome for an entire week. And because that venue has awesome sound, I certainly don't want to miss it.
  10. Another idea :

Maybe they mean an indoor and an outdoor show. Indoor in North America and England, outdoor in the rest of Europe, Australia and South America.

After all, they said "more indoors than outdoors", so there will probably still be some stadium shows.
  11. Considering the fact that the only way I was able to obtain GA tickets for the one U2 gig I attended was because it was one of the shows that got delayed by a year when Bono broke his back, I'm definitely going to renew my subscription to ensure that I can secure more GA tickets this time.
