    Our show of the month is a great opportunity for us U2 fans to celebrate something. Since we're celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Lovetown tour this year, we memorate the amazing show that happened 25 years ago in October in Melbourne, Australia. We just upgraded the source of this show with an improved recording named "Melbourne Memoirs Volume 5", which by itself would already be a reason for you to listen to this show. Other reasons include a great setlist, great snippets and the last performance of Exit to this date.

  2. Downloading the new source This 7-concert residency in Melbourne (by the way, is it the longest row of concerts in the same city ever played by U2? I think so) was epic, even though the surviving recordings aren't the best we have.
  3. They were some great shows. I attended two of them. My first experience of U2.

  6. Australia might just be the best place in the world to see U2. And it isn't just a statement. There are an incredible amount of sensational concerts from here to back that up.
  7. After seeing U23D I think I'd rather see them in South America, crowds were apeshit crazy.

    7 shows at one venue, wow. Wonder how many people went to all seven.

    It was ommited from the Oct 9th night, which had an awesome setlist anyway:

    Seriously, looking at those Melbourne setlists (and Lovetown in general)... it makes me wonder what happened to this guys during Lovetown. They've always had a rather static setlist with a very defined scheme, even since Boy / October tours, but Lovetown broke all the rules. Wow.
  12. They were amazing shows. Three bands played. "Weddings parties anything" followed by "BB King and his band" then U2. The energy was incredible.
