  2. ZooTV, along with 360, were tours whose names focused on particular concepts rather than promoting a specific song from the album. One could make the argument that Elevation was a conceptual name rather than pulling a song from the album, what that's a different topic.

    Based on what everyone's saying, there doesn't seem to be that one song to stamp on the front of this new tour, so they'll most likely default to naming the tour after a centralized theme. Now predicting what that theme will be is going to be the million dollar question for the time being...

    Yes, even though ZOO TV Tour sounds way cooler than Innocence Tour...

    Has the Volcano rumour been proved unfounded? I think it'd be quite likely - a reference to an early single, the 1984 album, rage, youth...

  6. I certainly hope the Volcano rumor is unfounded. I just can't see U2 having this master plan play out so beautifully up to this point, only to have it trip up on something as trivial as a halfway decent name...

  8. bad name if it is official ... i thought maybe a " Songs tour " because this album and the next that will be out during the tour have the name Songs ..and maybe they will work hard to play many different s songs and maybe make a poll in every city for the fans to choose a song to be played on stage ( like many other bands did)
  9. Nice idea, Pato I wish they did their audiences participate a little more too. Choosing a song is fine, but what if the crowd of a certain city chooses, let's say, WOWY or One? U2 have a lot more casual fans than other bands, so it might backlash a little But yeah, I agree.

    that s why that didn t work well for us ... if you did a poll in the stadium will win a classic ...that s what we don t want anymore...either something really strange but some like Wild horses or original of the spieces or something like that
