Yea! Sounds like he's pronouncing it in detail on purpose for us to get it
Loved this version, the piano the strings and the more emotional vocals...I'd have vocals like this with the electric. Or maybe they can do both versions on different nights!
  2. Holy crap getting goosebumps from the acoustic version! This song has so many good things going for it. The instrumental build-up is amazing! Bono's vocals are heartfelt and raw! The piano melody is so simple, yet melodious! This is a song that is worthy of a full orchestra performance
  3. This has just about got me to tears. Quite amazing to see the boys in such form, this is an acoustic set worth including on the album.
  4. Absolutely Beautiful!!! I am so glad we have both versions because I can't decide which one is better. Love them both!!
  5. From an interview they've done with the Sun here:

This bit about Every Breaking Wave...

    Bono on Chris Martin
'We were playing with (Every Breaking Wave) for the last album and Chris talked us out of it. He said, 'That one deserves to be finished.' The half-baked version would have denied us this, so we owe him for that... he's a genius and a very self-effacing guy. He's one of our bodyguards.'

I didn't know Chris Martin was involved during the finishing of NLOTH.
As far as I remember EBW was part of the album tracklist till the very latest. Interesting bit anyway
  6. Well the SOI version is miles better than the 360 so thank you Chris.

  7. Chris Martin bodyguarding U2? Ehmmm

  8. So the student scholars the teacher...
    Nothing wrong with it.
U2 has probably teached Coldplay 1000 things.
  9. Got to give credit where credit is due. If U2 is tipping their hat to Chris Martin, we should too.
  10. not digging the piano version...Bono voice is just ughh
