    *sigh*
They played 28 times at festivals before that, during the Boy-October-War-Unforgettable Fire eras. I looked it up for you. End of (a useless, as it's just facts) discussion.
  2. Still technically correct as the Boy-October-War-Unforgettable Fire eras were over 20 years ago.

Point is that the only reason a band as big as U2 plays festivals is because they need a low pressure scenario to work out their live act kinks. U2 doesn't currently fall under that category given their touring experience, so there should be no reason for them to play festivals.
  3. Festivals are shit anyway.
  4. So this LiveNation announcement tomorrow at 9 UK time, either AC DC or U2? Other options?
  5. One week ago they were talking about places like the O2 and now we are discussing festivals
  6. LiveNation casually retweeted U2 yesterday:

  7. U2 do always their own announcements right, not the record company
  8. Why do I keep spending time on this...

  9. U2place just said that Joe O'Herlihy (during rehearsals today) has been asked about tour dates in Italy and he said "See you next year in Milan, this time"....probably also in Rome, but the news would be: Italy ( and maybe Europe) ---> next Autumn
