    So, it would seem from this that the remasters/reissues/whatever are only worth getting for the bonus material. Still a well held belief (and the dynamic range scores kind of prove this) that the SACD WTS is the best to get.

    The single for Don't Look Back In Anger is the loudest, most ear-shattering music I own. Absolutely deafening.

    Wow, that is some truly sincere confessions there... I'm surprised he's spoken about some of the members' lack of skills so openly. I mean, Oasis have never been or pretended to be Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin, but I woulnd't have bet on their engineer to badmouth about their technical mediocrity I agree that they sound too loud at times, some of their songs are the "sound wall" to the n-th power - but that's just the way their music was meant to be listened and played, as Owen says, so...

  5. Re: date, yes, a relatively long way off. Album was finished back in July - he'll be sitting on it for nearly a year!
