1. No, even the secret German gig is labelled unplugged
  2. I have nothing against acoustic performances. What I hate is Bono and Edge alone, while they're only the 50% of the band and the 40% of the business.
  3. They've gotta up their game for Jools. Full band electric must happen for two songs at least. Fully expect another acoustic EBW though.
  4. Stuck may not be a popular fan choice, but for casual fans it's an absolute winner. My wife loves it.

Just hearing Crystal ballroom for first time
    Very good

    And 80/90% of the writing??

Will probably be acoustic there too, lends itself to it well. I wonder if Graham Norton will be too. That has been touted as U2 and Graham Norton has already stated they will be playing Miracle....
  7. Graham Norton could be playback with a Bono vocal, but I'll be massively disappointed if they don't do full band electric for Jools. Cedarwood full electric I reckon.
  8. I have to say, I think The Miracle loses a lot of its punch and power when it's played stripped back like this. Easily the song I like least acoustically out of what's been done so far -- though don't get me wrong, it's still good. I'm hoping the tour isn't too unplugged.

And yes, it's time for some full band electric performances, at least of Cedarwood Road and The Miracle
  9. Can't warm to The Miracle in any form.
  10. But it's nice to notice they're trying different promo directions and strategies this time around...Guy Oseary's influence perhaps? Whatever it is, gets me excited, gives hope of further surprises such as tour setlist shuffles and such.
