  4. I'm thinking about that "great songs hold themselves up even when stripped down; great sounds still sound great when played with just one guitar or so" stuff Bono has been saying for some time. Maybe they're going for a fully acoustic/stripped down promo tour just to support that idea??

  8. Brilliant performance here. Compared to this, both France and Italy were crap. Or just a way to smoothen Bono's voice.

    Here it is U2. Bono is steady and sings album-like. The strings and the little drumming from Larry add a lot to the overall feeling.
  9. I remember reading somewhere about an advice from Chris Martin (Coldplay) to Bono about making an acoustic album or an acoustic tour...
    Maybe the promo tour will be low key and start getting louder and higher as time dictates!

    - EBW is already very very special to me I must say. Really gaining the WOWY-status for me. And THIS is the version I want to hear live. Goosebumps and wet eyes. Call me a pussy, I don't care.

    - I actually enjoyed Stuck this time. Very overplayed, but this sounded somehow fresh.

    - The others were kina boring.
