1. That gave me goosebumps. Incredible!
  2. can't see if its been posted but heres the audio from the German unplugged session
  3. Also on U2place now. Sounding good!
  4. Also on our show pages now, including two other new ones for the promo tour (Rolling Stone performance of The Miracle & 60 minutes Australia performance)
  5. Thanks, Remy!

EBW totally rocks, even in the acoustic version. Public apparently loved it. U2 really seem to know what they're doing.
  6. Just listening to the Germany unplugged session, pretty good stuff. The Miracle is done very well.
Bono's voice is also outstanding, and the bootleg is just of a fine quality as well.
  7. Yeah and they seemed relaxed too.
  8. This is really important imo. If they feel that way, they probably have confidence on their songs and believe in them... It's a lot easier to put them in live configuration and show it the their audience. Also, it's a lot easier to work on their upcoming project and deal with all the criticism about the release of SoI.
  9. U2 to perform on Jimmy Fallon's show - for a whole week

Everybody's been speculating about when U2 will bring the Songs of Innocence promo tour to North America. Well, wonder no more! We have our first US promo dates - yes, dates, plural.

U2 will perform on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for the full week starting Monday, 17 November. Fallon announced the residency in his opening monologue today.

Neither residencies as a promo strategy nor performing on Fallon's show are new to U2. During the No Line on the Horizon promo tour, U2 performed every night for a week on David Letterman's show in early March 2009. Meanwhile, earlier this year, U2 gave the only live performances to date of "Invisible" for Fallon's debut episode, which also featured "Ordinary Love". Clearly U2 enjoyed it enough to head back for a longer stay with Fallon!

  10. I hope they'll be playing more songs from SOI, e.g. Iris and TIWYCRMN. I also hope no Vertigo, and, why not, some acoustic/piano revisitation of some old song. A rocking Stand Up Comedy would be great too! Much looking forward anyway
  11. Great news, nothing better than every day some new stuff from our band
