I can't get enough of the band at the moment - just listening to bootleg after bootleg and it is making me want to see them again. That's why I would make the round trip to Canada if a tour happened. It would be nice to meet other diehards, but ones - like yourselves - that don't act like fans that are superior to others. I suppose we could just judge those sanctimonious arseholes while we're at the gig(s).
  2. I think an EV show will happen much sooner then a band show in any of our areas.

But like I said , I will go anywhere to see this band , along with U2 , who I think we are forgetting here..maybe we can all meet up at a U2 show first ???

Well, the thing is, and I love U2, but i wont go past NY to see them. So I think theres a better chance of everyone meeting at a PJ show because we're all willing to travel...

  5. I don't know if it's fair to put it ahead of BB - which is possibly my all time favourite. BB also has the longevity factor going for it while TD has just eight episodes under its belt. Time will tell if it belongs amongst the TV Drama Gods - or if it turns into another Homeland!

I am hoping to see both bands in the spring of 2015 - but Ed is probably right, U2 has a better chance of coming my way than PJ next year. The thing with U2 is that they'll likely hit all of our areas next year so travelling to see them might not be necessary.

At least your not so obsessive that you make mix after mix after mix after mix of all of these bootlegs!

I know I've said this many times before but I really think this PJ bootleg thing is becoming a bit of a problem for me!

PS. I got a 3-CD Euro 2014 mix in the works! Should be ready by the weekend!

I haven't seen them enough to turn into one of those guys - and doubt I ever would/will at this point. In fact, I'd be thrilled with a greatest hits setlist.

    Oh, no! Another compilation idea!

I will never turn into one of those. Even at my 100th show lol..... Its amazing that some will say a show is great because they played" Dont Give Me No Lip"........

I cant imagine anything being better than BB.. As a matter of fact, I dont think I can handle a show better than BB..
  12. Yeah, without getting into specific songs, there are a bunch of songs that probably would kill the momentum of a show. DGNL would certainly be one in my books.

I guess I best be careful to not turn into an setlist snob on the reverse end of what we're talking about. I'll be the first to admit that I've shaken my head at the inclusion of songs like Comatose and Got Some in a setlist.
