But I guess this community is different from the regular folk like Interference...

By the way, has anyone else noticed that the number of members who list Ultra Violet as their favourite songs has increased with this tour?

Yes I noticed that. That's because of this tour. If they play Acrobat next year everyone will include Acrobat to their top ten.

    No.

That were the exact same Favorite Songs that were on 2006, and 2007, and 2008. When there was no NLOTH or 360 Tour yet.

By the way, look at my favorite 10 songs (not changed since 2006 I think):

    I Will Follow
Where The Streets Have No Name
    Love Is Blindness
    Like A Song
    Acrobat
    October
    Bad
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
    All I Want Is You
    Dirty Day

Only TWO have been played this tour

  4. Makes much more sense thanks

Wasn't sure cos I remember reading somewhere that the studio was apparently haunted by the ghosts of the war
  5. thanks for posting this here. I admit I saw it somewhere else before (u2.com? somewhere) but I didn't take the time to read it. Now I did. And it's one of the best columns by Bono I've ever read. Fascinating. Interesting, moving read.
And to me, One has always been and probably always will be one of their best, most intense and most important songs ever.

I liked a lot how he describes his reaction to the words Angela Merkel said, about being more than you appear to be etc. Wow.
  6. Don't understand the minor One-bashing. I love it, one of their best and even alive on the 360-tour imo.

  7. 360 seems to bring old songs back to life. Pride, Sunday Bloody Sunday and One are much better this tour than during Vertigo. Not that I mind dropping Pride, though

I hope that the play, but i doubt it, the setlists are the weak point of U2

  9. Well Vertigo had pretty decent setlists imho. Relaxed shows, more surprises and less static.

But with the lightshows and video's its hard to shake things up, unfortunately every beat and every note is synchronised according to plan.

I call it the Popmart syndrome. Which has its good and its bad (I love 360 and Popmart)
