welcome mate. I don't know of an early demo called Children Of The Revolution but the boys (at least Bono anyway) did a cover of the song. Don't know who the original was by. I had it not too long ago. Haven't checked since my laptop crashed though
Produced by Barry Devlin at Dublin's Keystone Studios in late 1978, these three demos were re-released as part of The Complete U2 iTunes box set in 2004, and renamed Early Demos. The session was recorded and took place in April 1978 even though the bootleg title says November of 1978.
Most U2starters and fans (well, the ones on forums) would know of these sessions and demos but realise that there is a way to get them legally without being confined to Apple's iTunes Store and having them in extra poor quality for the price you're paying. These are the band's first recorded works released officially.
