1. Got another GA tickets for both Nights III and IV in Paris, after getting one for Night II through general sale on Monday. Gotta love pre-sales

It even worked for Amsterdam now; to buy 2 single tickets for 2 seperate shows (despite the disclaimer on .com)

My friend just got herself a GA for night 4, while having bought earlier 1 ticket for night 1
  3. wow, not a particularly smooth ride today with Ticketmaster.nl, but managed in the end. Site timed out, then kicked me out... upon return (deleted all cookies to make sure no data from last week would possibly interfere etc) the presale code was not accepted.. oh dear.

Should this happen to anyone, the solution for me was to actually EXIT ticketmaster, log out... then validate code and log back in during process, after selection of tickets. Not sure I would do that on Monday though. But no code issue to worry about then ;-)

Hell, not complaining, virtually a miracle one can do all this nowadays from the beach in Turkey...back in the old days would have come home next week and missed out on the entire thing.

Oh yeah, I did actually see the option for hard copy tickets during checkout (euro 3 extra), for those interested. Did not see that last week at all.

Good luck everybody, hope this possibly helps a soul somewhere :-)
  4. AAAhhh have to wait till Monday cause I need 4 seats....
    Happy foro you aal though
  5. Im content to just get 2 tickets for separate nights with my U2.com presale codes
If they add more shows, im screwed haha

Thx everyone for your views on this...I guess we just have to wait and see how they will do this inthe US

True, but I gues most people find the most logicial arrangement to be ABAB, so...

But indeed, we'll see. Anything can happen.

  7. Actually there is no “logical arrangement” for a 4-night stand since nothing was mentioned specifically for these special occasions… All possible options are mere conjectures from the one clue that said “night two will have different feeling than night one.” (That does seem to rule out option AABB, but then again, a 4-night stand could indeed carry it’s own “logic,” whatever that may be...)

What should make it even more complicated is that feelings are highly subjective. Back in 2009 when I attended both Amsterdam shows, for me night 1 had a complete different “feel” than night 2. (I remember waking up the morning after night 1, thinking night 2 could never ever top or even match night 1 – and I was right: night 2 was even better with One in the early spot, Bad and the Drowning Man sequence in MOS!). My point: someone could still make a legitimate case arguing that both nights essentially had the same “feel.”

Having this said, in my experience first nights always have a different feel than last nights...

Anyway, any thoughts on New York City? ABABAB/ABBAAB/ ABBABA…? (ABACAB…?)
  8. i would guess IF there really is a 2 night 'conventional vs something new/else' approach, they would start with the 'something new' simply because the first gig will generate the majority of media attention/hype.. Would that actually make B into A?? :-)
  9. I think we're reading too much into this with too little info, and they will eventually merge both approaches into each night.
  10. Think it will be abacadabra

It's only five months until we know! How amazing is that.
  12. 5 months can fly away without noticing indeed. Hell yeah!! And there will be some more promo I guess, when Bono recovers a bit more.
