Honestly it probably depends on the discretion of the dude at the door, or what they've been told by the higher ups.

do you really think that the guards will carefully check each ticket when everyone wants to get to the GA? no worries
  3. http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/h/help.html?tm_link=tm_homeA_i_help – type in 'paperless tickets' into the search bar.

It all states very clearly here. The card has to be taken on the day of the gig and it actually goes through a check to see if it is on file and tickets have been purchased. I'll end up getting some absolute jobsworth who won't let me in then I've wasted £65 on a ticket and the travel there and back.

There won't be ID+CC checkings, or else GA entrance will take 4 hours and the shows will start at 2 AM
  5. Apparently will, how else will they get people in if it's a paperless ticket?
  6. What have they sent as the ticket confirmation? A QR code or what?
  7. I'm expecting to swipe my card at the entrance then they'll see how many tickets I've got, perhaps see some ID to verify that it's my face doing the swiping, then let my party in. It might just be as simple as swiping the right card. But until someone who's done this before can confirm, it's just guesswork from me.

What should make it even more complicated is that feelings are highly subjective. Back in 2009 when I attended both Amsterdam shows, for me night 1 had a complete different “feel” than night 2. (I remember waking up the morning after night 1, thinking night 2 could never ever top or even match night 1 – and I was right: night 2 was even better with One in the early spot, Bad and the Drowning Man sequence in MOS!). My point: someone could still make a legitimate case arguing that both nights essentially had the same “feel.”

Having this said, in my experience first nights always have a different feel than last nights...

Anyway, any thoughts on New York City? ABABAB/ABBAAB/ ABBABA…? (ABACAB…?)

I personally think that's the most logical, as there are 2 ADDED shows.
But like Sergio said, this discussion goes waaay to long while we have practically no info.
  9. About the CC/ID check : they always say cameras etc aren't allowed as well...
  10. How about opening acts, I got a bad feeling there won't be any..

Did they announced the 360 opening acts before the ticket sale?
  11. Hope none, an evening with U2 would be great, 3 hours.
