I don't cry much, but it would've been a nice time to get all emotional...I didn't cry, but I looked up to the moon, with U2 in the background, and told her I loved her...one last time...although her arms would not be within mine.

I know your feeling man... It's weird isn't it.
As I said (too many times ?) before, my ex broke up with me on the day of the iTunes release. And I wasn't really aware of it.
I left her house, had to pull over at the side of the road, totally lost it and suddenly I heard a familiar voice. Bono's. An unknown song. Literally this part : "The sea knows we're on the rocks and drowning is no sin. You know where my heart is the same place yours has been. We know that we fear to win and so we end before we began. Before we begin.". I can't tell you what went through me when he yelled "If you go. If you go your way and I go mine".
After 5 years of false rumours, suddenly a new album. First thing I hear, moments after the breakup. I know it's coincidence, but it still feels so strange.
To add to the coincidence : the physical album release over here was on her birthday. And when do they visit Antwerp ? Yes, her birthday, one year later. I know it's unbelievable, but it's true.
I don't really know if I want them to play it then.
