    They did... It's on the Where The Streets Have No Name single.
  7. Now that you've all had your time with the fancy deluxe editions (ow yea I'm jealous again this morning )...do you think they're gonna do an Achtung Baby re-release in a few years? Maybe a 20 year anniversary again?...here is what I'm getting at: Are they gonna release a DVD from the RDS show?!
  8. I'd say just a bunch of demos and rehashes from Achtung Baby. I'm hoping the 28th on DVD comes out.

    Well, I'd say, they did film it, didn't release it as they had Sydney, similar to the 87 Paris show which was filmed and not released (for whatever reason...maybe the tear gas incident?)...sooo...

    There are plans to rerelease the whole catalogue. I think they'll at least do it with their smash albums, so it's pretty likely that Achtung Baby gets the same treatement as JT.
    As for the Dublin RDS show: I don't think it's gonna be released on DVD;
    1.: There's no sign that it was filmed
    2.: Technically it belongs to the Zooropa tour, I expect a DVD from Zoo TV.

    my $ 0,02

    I'm pretty certain they will given Paul McGuiness' comments. Same sort of deal I guess. Not sure about the show choice though - Paris was a left-wall choice for JT (against more obvious choices like Tempe, Denver etc) so you never know. Just one they're happy with I guess.

    All shows from late JT have been filmed. They could just pull together footage from the screens and the footage from the boom camera on the walkway. That would look like a pro-shot DVD
