Didn't Lyon have quite a poor start to the season?

Yeah, they were good in the first game when I was attending, then they got so depressed when I left that the rest of August was horrible. Since then it's been a different story. Lacazette is the top goalscorer in the league (and I think second in Europe) with nineteen goals after 20 rounds, Lyon is also the top goalscoring team... and now we lead the league as well.
I watched the game yesterday on a stream from England... it was quite funny because the commentators got super-excited about Lyon.
Also, we've been starting 7.6 former academy players per game. I doubt very many teams can match that at this level.

Let's see what effect success will have on that. The combination of increased exposure of those academy players to bigger teams, the need to stay competitive, and the increased income will surely strain that number. Admirable though at this stage.

Tought decision though. World Cup winner, Champions League winner, and Simeone who broke the Barca/Madrid stranglehold and pushed Madrid right to the wire in the UCL.
