1. I'll wait to hear it as part of the album before dismissing it completely. I mean, it's not Beady Eye. The video does it no favours though. And if it does mean a new tour, I hope he drops those ticket prices a little bit before I consider it
  2. Ticket price drop should + won't happen sadly.

Come to Spain to see him instead. Tickets for his concerts were £25 last tour (instead of >£45 over there). You have free accomodation

    They can't go up...
  4. I could fly to Spain, pass up the free accommodation, see Noel, drink sangria in the park, fly back and still have money to spare.
  5. ^ hahaha, that's sadly true. Well, the accommodation offer is still up if you feel like it (I would show you better Spanish drinks than sangría too btw)

  6. (I'm not sure I've chosen the correct emoticon to express my feelings). Nice one - I suppose.... I am always hoping for OASIS news. I consider myself to be a rather patient individual. However, I'm just hoping for that Be Here Now reissue at this point.

The song isn't all that bad - something a bit different from the previous album. I hope he comes around my way with this album as I don't think he did with the last one.
  7. ...my bad. He played a relatively small venue (Massey Hall) in Toronto back in Nov. of 2011.
  8. IMO the Ballad of the Mighty I is brilliant..love it... ..the video is a classic..as Noel has said in the past he hates making them..great when the director calls him Liam..lol....just adds to it..

wish the album would come out already...cant wait .
  9. Yeah, I just commented on the song itself. The video is brilliant

Havent really heard Oasis though, I get them confused with Pearl Jam (i dont know why). I'll give Oasis a listen.
Throwback but I gave them a listen that summer and it's one of my absolute favorite albums.

Noel loved them so much that I think he recorded his own cover of "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out", most of y'all probably already know that though.

Man how I wish Noel would tour over here, I'd buy tickets in a heartbeat. I know Britpop wasn't as big here as it is over in England (for example, when Adele was cut off at some awards show for Blur...which would NEVER happen here, unless it was say, dare I say it to you folks, Taylor Swift or One Direction), but oh how I wish there was more appreciation by the masses for his stuff. It's absolute dynamite - the kind of stuff the Boss himself would most certainly approve of. And that's as American rock'n'roll nowadays as you can get, really.
