Rainy....as usual. Other than that, pretty good.
No snow yet, huh? I went to college about 3 hours north of you up in Michigan, and it seemed like we never really got snow until January and February.

Hey Drew!Still fighting with apple I see.

Yep, and the fight doesn't end until they get back some quality control. You didn't see my post in their forum that was removed, did you? It's gone, but it's in this topic somewhere. Let me find it and I'll repost it for all to see. Some of it is sort of untrue (like unreliable machines now they use Intel architecture) but other bits are right up there.

Doesn't Apple test anything anymore? Has QA gone out the window? It has for the last five years.
They stuffed up big-time on Vista when nothing works (and then the Apple fan boys trying to blame Microsoft who created a new operating system - Fan Boys, grow some balls and try something different). Apple was caught with it's pants down around it's knees this time. Doesn't Apple realise 60% of their customers are Windows and Linux/GNU users? And they don't even support bloody Linux/GNU or even Vista at this moment PROPERLY.
I've upgraded to 1.0.3 firmware and I give it 1/10. Why? Because it still ***** balls. Don't you fan boys see past this - Apple's QA went out a looooooooong time ago. With Leopard 10.5 - blue screens, freeze-ups etc. Not good. Could I get Vista working easily? With a little messing around, yeah. No Blue Screens.
The sound is not marvelous, it's well below par. And this stupid split-screen ***** balls too. I have never seen anything so badly designed. Zune, here I come.
Oh yeah, and another thing. Why don't Apple ever reply? I rang up and got a freaking Indian who said I had no idea what I was talking about and should try songs from Apple store. Uhhhhhhhhh.................I'm not trusting my iPod to DRM crap at 128Kbps. Nope. Apple, get your act together and maybe people will trust you. Until then, no thanks - you have lost me a customer.
And why do Apple charge so much for such unreliable machines NOT EVEN made in America? Thanks a lot for reading - appreciated a lot.

What a load of crap....Believe me, the apple people I've dealt with are nowhere near this crappy. I will say though that I'm pretty ticked off about my "apple earbuds" that I can unscrew and tear apart just by using them.

You think that's bad, you should hear what I said to Sony and Microsoft. In the US they're probably much better at dealing with these issues (because most products like the iPhones and iTouches and iMacs are sold in much more quantity), but in Australia we have such crappy phone support. I've had better support from a dunny bowl than Apple Australia.
Ten years ago Apple (all countries) used to be fantastic - when I first started using computers and technology like that. I even remember my very first Apple Computer experience...using one of the really colourful machines...reliable as a rock.

Yeah, I remember those days, that was when my dad had his 2GB mac laptop. (2GB? Can you imagine having a 2GB hard drive?)

I remember my first computer had a 48k processor (Spectrum). My last PC before the Mac mini had a 850Mb processor and a 20Gb hard drive. It was massive when I got it (2000).
Nice Vista screens. I will never use it. Very happy with my Mac OS (still on Tiger, no need for me that I can see to go to Leopard)
How's everyone today?
