1. Thanks to all of you (the usual suspects, of course!) who provided the recommendations. I downloaded DB power amp and am now listening the the 2004 Glastonbury performance in iTunes!

I also watched the 2006 Sheperds (sp?) Bush show on youtube last night. Great show - sooooo many classics!
  2. Sheperd's Bush = classic show
  3. It would be a great one for them to remaster - maybe one day with an inevitable Blackholes reissue??? Gotta love they played "Assassins" at that one - and a great performance of "Citizen Erased," which I know you appreciate, Sergio.
  4. Muse to me is like vodka. Most of the times it comes off way too strong, but sometimes that's the way you like it.

While I think The 2nd Law was an interesting departure from their typical musical style, I hope they decided to take a different approach this time around.
  5. ^ Agree with 2nd Law and with different approach...
I hope it will be really harder. ..
  6. Btw new album will be called "Drones". They posted some weird images of them with whole black eyes
  7. The two favorite songs from Muse are Butterflies and Hurricanes and Supremacy because they combine the raw emotion of hard rock with the finesse of classical themes. I can see that Muse wants that to be their core identity, but sometimes it's a bit off the mark.

Regarding the images of them with whole black eyes...
Well we've seen stranger things that's for sure.
  8. Yeah, Bono with eyeliner.
  9. The first four albums all contain many classics. Oddly enough, these guys became "bigger" in Canada after that.

They became bigger everywhere after their best albums. It just drives me crazy.
  11. They are the "bizarro world" Pearl Jam!
  12. I agree. Last great album by the band was Black Holes and Revelations. Some decent songs over the course of the past couple albums but Origin of Symmetry is still my favourite.
