1. I couldn't have said it better.
  2. This is quite probably true. It's brilliantly filmed and produced.
  3. I see a lot of film connections, affinities in cinematography, period, etc. I instantly though of Jim Sheridan movies such as In The Name of The Father and specially The Boxer. It also reminded me of Trainspotting.
  4. Here's hoping that they use the film for visuals in the i+e tour. Imagine EBW and Troubles with this video? (drools)

  5. What if it is? I feel several people would have their world views torn apart of that's the case.
  6. I'm no fan of him, but who cares? It didn't bother me at all in Iris and neither here. It's McArdle's passion project and she was able to execute it brilliantly. It could've been produced by Kanye and his wife for all I care.
  7. The video is amazing. I don't think it's an "official" video for the song, but it's like an adaptation instead. Either way, it's one of the best U2 related videos ever.

  8. Yeah I know I should focus on that, but it's not like they're breaking up... Or going their own way. The troubles might even make their relationship stronger... Oh well.
  9. It would just surprise me. A lot.

'Are we so helpless against the tide?' kinda fits if you view all the people around them who don't think they should be together as "the tide".
  11. I don't really like it But then again I wasn't a fan of the other SOI videos.

I finally watched it, and I'm with you.

I thought Every Breaking Wave was supposedly about Edge and his ex-wife breaking up way back when?

I still think this video is U2 being stereotypical U2 and is just a little too much.
