    Yeah, I remember Nate saying he ran Windows too for games. Parallels makes a bit more sense I guess 'cos then you don't need to re-boot. But Boot Camp is free......

    Mac excel at pretty bits, they've always swayed me. Just can't justify the £125 for a family-licence at present, especially given it will be on there if I buy new at some stage.

    I use boot camp. It's worth re-booting, considering parallels doesn't perform as well as boot camp. Plus, as you said, it's free.

    Hi Dan I have the beta of boot camp. I don't know when we'll upgrade to Leopard. My dad's been looking at that for his iMac as well as my laptop. The real appealing feature of Leopard is the time machine. Have you seen that?

    I have. It looks shit-hot. Best new feature I think. I find back-up and so on a real drag. You do need an external hard-drive of course, but most of us have those. With laptops I guess it waits until you connect to the backup.

    I think if you use them for work (like Jeremy) then Spaces is quite cool too. Rest seems fairly cosmetic from what I can tell.

    I agree with everything you said. I use a WD mybook as my external drive. It's a nice, reliable drive. My dad has a great Lacie, is one of the coolest looking drives I've ever seen.

    Mine's LaCie too. Fits under my mini. So cool and at 320GB has 4x the storage of the mini!!

    My dad's got about 450GB between his iMac and Lacie. That's with about 100,000 photos on it. And he still has 36GB of free space on his iMac!
