    Arse.

I certainly can't recommend THIS set. They suck. Don't fit in your ears at all. Thought they'd be useful for skiing etc but even the apple buds stay in better.
  6. THESE are supposed to be very good from what I've heard.

i've also heard a lot of very good things about those. They look evil though. I'd have to try them for size before blowing £50. I have ear canals that travel in different directions

LOL! They do look like they perform minor ear canal surgery to make them fit don't they?!

I suspect the positioning of your external auditory and acoustic meati is slightly different in each ear. That and canals can just be narrower. I seem to remember you said you use different size attachments for each canal. I'm sure these come with that too.

it's more of a directional issue than a dimensional one. If I put a finger in each ear for examle, both fingers would be going in at a different angle.

That's what this bit is about:-

The external auditory meatus is the hole that you stick your finger/earbud etc in. The acoustic meatus is the one where the eardrum is.

I think the Shure one's angle at the attachment with the drivers, which might make them more comfortable for you?...
  11. Though I enjoyed your discussion...as I am also looking for good headphones...but, you are WAAAAY off topic!

Well, how about this - Does anyone think their poor headphones interfere with their enjoyment of the bootlegs we listen to in the bootleg round table?
