Ah, Mr Yeah, you're deeply cynical views will be shattered into oblivion when the next masterpiece is delivered...

You've just given me nightmares for the next 6 months. Cheers

haha. Same here. I regret saying this, but I think Bono is turning into Macphisto...

why, because he relies on a teleprompt, is turning into a parody of himself and wear's ridiculous platform shoes?

or because he's growing red horns and shares MJ's skin condition

I don't know why, it just seems that way...
  8. Wow, the second page of this topic is a very scary one!
I think if he's smart enough to not pull a "mick jagger", they might stop in a few years, and then we'll see some surprise one-time reunions for special shows...like Pink Floyd in Live8.

Seeing The Boss perform and do it so well, and considering he's 10 years older than Bono gives me hope for another 3 albums actually

That's the scary thought that comes to my mind every now and then...one of the times being when I was watching the Milan DVD's version of Vertigo

I agree with everything you said here. I think you hit the nail on the head.
  10. Don't get me wrong...I love this band as much as everyone here...I was just voicing my own personal nightmare. (but of course I'd still go see them do their Vegas show once a month!)

Good point. Nice idea. Better than the touring warhorse that is those lizard-skinned letharios whose last hit was 40 years ago

This is who they need to base themselves on, no doubt. This guy is growing old very gracefully. And no prompter that I've ever seen or heard of.......

Care to expand on this Ali?

I do too....I'm just kinda scared...What I'm seeing in Bono right now is just worrying me a little.
