Yes! As a drummer Assassin is one of my favorites to play and it is great to see that the band brought it back after so many years. U2 should learn something from them in terms of live diversity
I understand that The 2nd Law doesn't really fit into this new environment. I would still be glad to see them play something from it. For example Liquid State would fit nicely to this heavier sound they are keeping now. Never been a big fan of Animals...
Animals are great song, but Liquid State too and would fit better to this setlist. And also TSP, Dead Star, Yes Please, In Your World etc... And I would love to MK Ultra to come back...
Matt already teased us with Assassin just before Unnatural Selection, they actually meant to play it but Chris couldn't remember it so they left it apart and said "we'll play it the next time for ya!"... I guess they were spoiled and finally took the time to rehearse it and belt it out at the next gigs - which is great! It's never been one of my favourite songs, not even from BHAR, but I agree that it fits nicely into this heavier setlists.
