1. maybe they were still worth something 10 years ago? don't know about today's apple earphones and I used them a lot, too.
  2. No, they were still terrible ten years ago:P What have you replaced them with?
  3. nothing special, a pair of panasonics for less than 10€ they sound and feel much better though. I was listening on the blank earpiece for several years now, no cushion
  4. I remember Gerard's post long ago saying "I was convinced that Apple earphones were maximum but they felt like kids toys when I first tried my Sennheiser CX-300"... haha Nah, Apple earphones -specially the ones they made years ago- were sturdier and overally better than most cheap earphones, and the jack connection didn't become loose easily (most usual fault with cheaper earphones), so they have lasted for years and years to many people. That doesn't mean they're good sounding or anything, but credit where credit's due. Enjoy your Panasonics, Jana, and if you ever feel like trying some REAL earphones for not much more than 10€ give some Sennheisers a try
  5. Every pair of Apple earphones I've had have fallen apart within weeks. As far as sound quality goes, you can tell the huge difference when you try something else. That said, the new earphones are a big improvement. I'm just using a cheap pair of Sony earphones at the moment. I miss the inline remote
  6. I was actually looking at sennheiser ones, but upon reading some reviews I was apprehensive... some said the bass was too heavy and I can't be bothered to fiddle around with stuff I don't have a single clue about the panasonics will do for my way to work!
  7. All that matters is that they sound good to you
  8. I can't recommend Sennheiser enough. Had my headphones for over a year now and still haven't fallen apart or broken. And the sound is terrific, very even.
  9. ^
Virtually everything that Sennheiser builds is superb. Sturdy, great sound quality, not-so-expensive and basically great. It's definitely the go-to brand in earphones/headphones!
  10. And since we're in General Chat, I'm gonna open a debate:

    trikini or bikini?
  11. I've not worn either, so couldn't possibly say.
  12. What the hell is a trikini?
