    Nope, the world isn't getting worse. There are just more tools for bad people and with social media etc. everything is more visible.

  5. I agree with Bart. There has always been evil in the world, it's just a lot more visible now and we are more aware of what's going on.
  6. There, I asked her to hang out sometime. She said maybe. She was kind of busy, and coulnd't really talk, so I said, I'd message her on Facebook sometime. Kind of funny, she actually seemed to kind of warm up, once I apologized for the awkwardness of the situation.

    Not much, but its a start.
  7. The world is now objectively better, no question about that. A war between France and Germany is now unthinkable, combat deaths are at their lowest in 100 years, the number of people living in extreme poverty has been reduced by a half, people are living longer, healthier, etc. You just don't see this on the news because it doesn't generate a lot of shares in Facebook.
    Yes, the world can be better (and it will), but the general trend is indisputable.
