I'm just gutted we are hearing talks of COBL, beaut day, vertigo... Noooooo. Even Better is Ok as haven't heard live since 1997.
We need gone and last night on Earth.
  2. i think bono`s voice is fine is just a rehearsal but they need to play different songs to refresh the setlits like starting at the sun, last night on earth, original of species, all because of you, stand up comedy, when i look at the world, wild honey, another time another place, a day without me, the ground beneath her feet .........

  3. Yes. It's time for the band to remember that Pop actually exists and refresh the setlists for this tour with solid rockers like Gone and LNOE. Or at least link Mofo with Iris, as some have suggested. I hope we hear reports of these sorts of songs being rehearsed soon.

At the same time, to others upset about songs like COBL, BD, Vertigo being rehearsed, those songs are still awesome live. Even if I'd prefer rarer tracks from the 90s...

Yes, I always felt they didnt play enough of these songs afterwards because of album sales. Some really great songs on there - Agree Gone and LNOE and Mofo would be awesome, so would Please (feel like that song has a similar feel to SOI)
  5. Oooh the live version of If You Wear THat Velvet Dress would be cool if it led into The Troubles

  6. ...or the other way around....

  7. After ignoring Pop for many years, I've decided to give the album a second chance. When I listened to the original album release, I still can't get rid of the sense that the album was incomplete. But I do feel a bit more receptive of it than I did in the past.
  8. The ultimate long term fan set list !!!!!

Treasure (Whatever happened to Pete the Chop)
    Are you gonna wait forever
Where did it all go wrong
    Love comes tumbling
    The three sunrises
    Salome
    Holy Joe
    Silver and gold
    Always
    Lady with the spinning head
    Walk to the water
    Deep in the heart
    Slow dancing (acoustic)
    Hallelujha (Here she comes) (acoustic)
    Summer rain (acoustic)
She’s a mystery to me (acoustic)
    Touch
    Spanish eyes
    Boomerang
Two shots of happy, one shot of sad
North and South of the river
    ENCORE 1
    Boy/Girl
    Party girl
    ENCORE 1
A room at The Heartbreak Hotel
    Luminous times (Hold onto love)

  10. Raised by wolves is probably the most difficult song to sing live. Doubt he can hit the notes every show.
  11. Definitely. I was just thinking how cool it would be to have a Raised By Wolves followed by Please (or the other way around)? Both have similar subject matter, and both would lend themselves well to a big orchestral arrangement (RBW acoustic version and Please single version) Have there been any further reports about U2 taking additional musicians with them on tour, or were those just rumors earlier?
